Gooey Chocolate Brownies(These lovely chocolate brownies are chewy and squidgy in the centre!)

Ingredients:

| 2 squares of dark baking chocolate
|
| 1 stick of butter, softened
|
| 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
|
| 1 cup of sugar
|
| 2 free-range eggs
|
| 4 tablespoons of all purpose flour
|
| A dash of salt
|
| 1/2 a teaspoon of baking powder
|
| Extra butter for greasing the baking pan
|

Directions: 1.preheat the oven to: 350.F and grease a baking pan with butter.
2.Break up the chocolate and put it in the mixing bowl. Microwave it for 2 minutes on the defrost setting or until it is melted. If you do not have a micromave put 2 inches of boiling water in a pan and put the bowl on top.
3.Next, mix the butter, vanilla extract and sugar into the melted chocolate, beating with a wooden spoon. When the mixture is smooth, beat the eggs in a separate bowl, then stir them in too. Sift the flour, salt, and baking powder into the bowl and beath the mixture until smooth. Pour the mixture into the greased baking pan and spread it out to the corners, using the metal spatula.
4.Put the baking pan in the center of the oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are firm, but the cake is springy in the center.
5.Let the pan cool down for 15 miutes the cut the brownies into 12 to 15 pieces using the metal spatula. Arrange the brownies on the wire cooling rock and leave them to cool.
